Great Granville Garage Sale Set for May 4, 2019

Great Granville Garage Sale Set for May 4, 2019
Mark your calendars now and plan to shop! The Great Granville Garage Sale will be held May 4, 2019. This annual event, held the first Saturday in May, is a collection of quality yard and garage sales in and around the village of Granville. Between 50-75 sales are anticipated this year, at private residences, the Opera House Park and the Granville Farmers Market. Additional sales will be located at Snapshots Lounge. It’s the perfect place to find that fabulous piece of vintage furniture, one-of-a-kind accessories, baby bargains or decorative and household items of every description.
Sellers: Sellers may register a sale at their location for $25! Spaces are also available for rent at the Granville Farmers Market for $30 and at Opera House Park for $40. Yard signs will be provided for each sale, as well as code words for the treasure hunt. Publicity for the sales will be provided through the LCCH and GGGS Facebook pages and local media.
Sale Registration Forms (for cash or check payment) are available at the Granville Village Office or Licking County Coalition for Housing. Yard signs and code words may also be picked up at these locations. You may also print registration forms from this website. If you wish to register by phone (for credit or debit card payment) call 740-345-1970 ext 229.
Another benefit to registered sellers is that they will be able to drop off unwanted, unsold items for donation to LCCH and St. Vincent DePaul Society at Wildwood Park from 3-5 PM the day of the sale.
Shoppers: Official GGGS maps including locations and times of all registered sales as well as special deals from local businesses, will be available the evening before the sale at Ross’ Granville Market from 5-7 PM, and the day of the sale at the Granville Farmers Market. Shoppers will once again be able to participate in a Treasure Hunt, which allows them to redeem code words collected from registered sales for tickets to the GGGS prize raffle. To redeem code words for tickets, shoppers should bring their map to Wildwood Park from 3:30-5:30 where they will receive one ticket for each code word recorded. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Park, at 5:30 PM. The winner does not need to be present.
All proceeds from GGGS registrations and GGGS map sales benefit LCCH programs. Continue to watch the GGGS Facebook page for more details!
