LCCH Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a community forum, to assess housing resources, to identify problems and to create solutions through collaboration.

Licking County Coalition for Housing (LCCH) is a 501(C)(3) not for profit organization, based in Newark, Ohio, dedicated to addressing the need for quality, affordable housing in Licking County. To that end, LCCH has developed several programs to serve the housing needs of homeless, low and moderate income residents in our community. LCCH has over 40 Transitional Housing units for homeless families and individuals, including 4 units for homeless veterans, various Rapid Re-Housing programs and a program specifically for homeless veterans and veterans facing homelessenss.  LCCH provides targeted and effective financial assistance to prevent homelessness through Project Homeline, re-entry housing through Returning Home Ohio, housing for adults with developmental disabilities, and VITA free tax preparation for low-income individuals. As a member of the local Continuum of Care, LCCH is an advocate for homeless and low-income persons, as well as a proponent of affordable, quality housing for all Licking County residents.
