LICKING COUNTY COALITION FOR HOUSING
USED COMPUTER DONATION GUIDELINES
The Licking County Coalition for Housing appreciates the donations it receives from the community. However, it is not always in the best interest of the agency to accept donated computers. Donated computers often require additional expenditures of time and money. If they are not fully functional, LCCH then faces disposal problems. For this reason, LCCH can only accept computers that meet the following requirements.
MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum systems that can be accepted and supported are:
· 350 MHz processor CPU (Pentium or AMD) or better
· Must be fully functional
Each computer system should have:
· Win98se Operating System or better
· 128 MB of RAM
· 10GB hard drive
· CD-ROM (any speed)
· 100Mb Ethernet card (if installed)
· OEM software licenses, installation CDs, and documentation
If donating a complete system, it must include:
· The computer
· 17” color monitor 32 bit color capable
· Keyboard
· Mouse
· All necessary cables
If donating a printer:
· Include all cables and software
· Must be fully functional
· Include all software
